I have to share this!!.....Thursday evening I saw the worse thing ever.....a little girl was hit by a car on route 1 she was supporting market basket boycott for her grandmother cause she works there!!...I did what I could do to help this little girl out and her grandmother but to me it wasnt enough.....hearing that little girl screaming it is like I can still hear it today..I have a little girl and she was out there with me the couple days before that accident! .......my point being is that when we say MARKET BASKET IS A FAMILY WE STICK TOGETHER! !!.....well let me tell u that I never seen a bunch employees pull it together and was there for the little girl and her grandmother and the other people that were out there protesting and saw it happened! !...the employees pull TOGETHER as a family!!!.....it was unbelievable words cant not describe it!!...it was heart warming......even now MARKET BASKET is still there for that little girl!!...a long with everyone that was there including myself.....after it all happened and I had that image in my head I went up to my bosss office and I broke down crying .....I couldnt stop crying all the employees that where in the building that were not part of it was making sure I was ok!!!!....i am proud to work for market basket and we r family and we stick together....the girls mom sent a message that was heartfelt!!...pretty much what I just wrote is what i said to her mom and the mom said well now my little girl is part of the MARKET BASKET FAMILY......and I said yes she is with tears in my eyes!!.....WE R MARKET BASKET AND WE R FAMILY!!
