I have to take a minute and say just how proud I am of my baby girl Ashley. We had her first parent/teacher conference today which went really well. What Im most impressed with is that she has been designated Class Manager by her teacher. She is entrusted to take notes and money to the office, to run errands for her teacher and provide assistance to her classmates on assignments. Some of you may recall just how painfully shy Ashley used to be. We would go to birthday parties and she would cling to my leg or beg (cry) to be held throughout the entire party. It was heartbreaking for me to watch my daughter miss out on so much fun due to her shyness. Seeing her step out of her comfort zone into a role of trust and leadership just makes my heart sing!!
