I have to take my hat off to mobility scooter owners. I used to think they were so easy to use. Then I recently got one and realised how wrong I was. I began to realise the obstacles you come across with scooters, as with wheelchairs, that able bodied people dont find as issues. A couple of things really took me by surprise. For example. Until your on a scooter you dont realise what an issue it is for people who partially park on the path blocking your way. The fact that not every path has a dropped kerb on the corner. Some paths slope so badly you get the feeling of tipping over. Espeacially going along a dropped kerbs. Would be interesting to hear of any problems you may of had.
