I have to vent, all comments and opinions welcome. On Feb, 18 last month I went to the Westbrook, CT post office with my two 4 year old sons to purchase stamps. While waiting in line, I witnessed this USPS counter worker disrespect a woman, than an elderly man before me. I approached the counter purchased my stamps then asked for a piece of tape, his response was rude while stating he cannot provide tape. I then requested to see the postmaster and requested a piece of tape, she supplied a small piece for my envelope. Before leaving I requesting all routes to file a complaint, the postmaster supplied the information, during this I noticed the postal counter person throwing mail very upset. I proceeded to leave the building with my two sons entered the second lobby when the door flew open behind us and we were assaulted by this USPS employee. He started with a push from behind then followed with punches to the back of my head, both my sons were slammed into the glass and wall. I defended myself by responding with punches and drove the attack back about 8, then other USPS workers arrived and pulled him inside the rear of the USPS.
