I have tried to send this to WWE regarding this issue but Im unable to send this through the WWE comment site! So I posted this to WWE Facebook page and Triple H Facebook page, enjoy! Also please share this! Hello my name is Marcus Irvin and I had an issue at the Allstate Arena box office. I have been a WWE fan since I was old enough to comprehend what wrestling was. I became aware that the WWE EXTREME RULES PPV was coming to the Allstate Arena on April 26th 2015. As advertised it stated on the TV commercial that the tickets do not go on sale until 12 P.M. noon on Saturday January 10th 2015. Here starts my first issue, my spouse is a bigger woman and can not sit in the regular seats. Therefore we were referred by a friend of mine to get the disabled seats. The disabled seats have folding chairs and allow so much more space to allow my wife to move around. We have bought these seats before and havent had any issues until now. I became aware that the disabled seats are not eligible for pre-sale and are not available until noon on Saturday that the tickets officially go on sale. I live in Streator, IL and I live about 2 hours away from the arena. I traveled to the Allstate Arena box office for 2 hours on January 10th 2015. I left at 8 A.M. to get up to the Allstate Arena at 10 A.M. . I then stood in line for another 2 hours in -4 degree weather and was first in line at 9:45 A.M., knowing that there was going to be a big turn out. I stood there until a little before noon when the security guard let us into the box office room early. I was still first in line after we were let in early and was standing at the 3rd window on the left side of the windows. When the box office opened, there was a man in front of me that was ready to help me. But something seemed to be irritating him and I started off by saying I need 3 seats in section 113 disabled. The man started typing and after 5 minutes of looking stated There is nothing I can do for you and I cant sell them to you because they are being looked at. I said Theyre being looked at? Im here to purchase them. I then said What about section 116 disabled? and the man then started to type and then stated once again The seats are being looked at and I cant sell them to you. I then got upset and kept my composer and said Look I know these disabled seats dont go on sale until 12 P.M. and they are not eligible for pre-sale and there is a difference between looking and purchasing and that what ever happened to first come first serve? and I asked for a manager. So the man at the window who was waiting on me took 4 steps back and was still in full view of me and got another mans attention and said in front of me and other customers. I dont know what this idiot wants me to do for him! Then another man came up to the window and said, I apologize but we can get you 3 seats behind the entrance. I replied, No thank you and I dont appreciate being called an idiot and I have traveled 2 hours to get here and stood in -4 degree weather knowing that these tickets are available. The man that called me the idiot then said. You traveled 2 hours? Are you nuts?! So then the teller that called me and idiot and nuts got on a phone and contacted someone, he then came back to the computer/register and miraculously got an override and section 113 disabled came available after I had been standing in line for about 2 1/2 hours. I then purchased the tickets and went on my way. As I was leaving the building, a couple of people who were waiting in line asked me what happened and I told them. They all agreed that the situation was unacceptable. I have never been so embarrassed and humiliated in my life, for that man to call me an idiot for trying to buy disabled seats makes me feel that I have been discriminated against. I have worked in customer service for about 12 years and I know how a customer should be treated. This mans attitude and actions were totally inappropriate. This was intended for a birthday present/weekend getaway for my wife and I both have birthdays in April, but the fact that I stood in line in -4 degree weather to be treated like this makes me rethink coming to the Allstate Arena for any event. While I am glad to have gotten the tickets, my enthusiasm for attending the event is greatly diminished. This is why I have contacted you WWE regarding this issue, given that you have campaigns against bullying and discrimination. Had I known this was going to happen I would have never gave the time and effort to come up to Rosemont, IL.. I feel that the issue has not been, and possibly cannot be resolved. I would greatly appreciate a response to this issue of concern.
