I have what I believe is a brilliant ideaan idea! How about in the next few weeks the Candidates for Newark Mayoral & Council seats take some of the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) of dollars theyre spending on daily partisan polling, massive amounts of deceptive literature, etc., and put it towards a TANGIBLE initiative to make a positive diference in our City? Im just saying....everyone knows that TALK IS CHEAP and actions speak louder than words....so if you are able to SHOW me a little of what you can/will do, as opposed to telling me.....I can guarantee my vote, and Im pretty sure the votes of many others as well. Stop trying to make me believe that you will have the authority to autonomously implement your great ideas without the support of other individuals, laws or conditions in government.. YOU WONT! Dont believe it? Ask President Obama. The reality is that until you have actually PERFORMED the job you are seeking, you really dont know what you will find if/when you get it. So all your great ideas and plans are nothing more than conjecture. On the other hand....if you SHOW me what you can/will do on your own, Ill be much more inclined to believe you. Any takers?
