Imago Mundi will debut on August 28th in Venice at the Fondazione Querini Stampalia. It is a collateral event of the 55th Venice Biennale. Imago Mundi is a show of over a thousand works of art commissioned and collected by Luciano Benetton on his travels around the world. The artworks, by established and emerging artists from the United States, Japan, India, South Korea and Australia, were all produced on 4 x 5 inch canvases provided by the Benetton Foundation. The Foundazione Benetton Studi Ricerche will produce a catalogue for each country represented in Imago Mundi.
