I have worked at the Company I am at now for over a year and every day my heart breaks when I either have too little or nothing to give. At this innocent little boys young age, he has seen and experienced more than any of us have in our lifetime. His mother passed away a few years ago and since then him and his father have been living on the streets. They have been in the same clothes from the day I first saw them. His dad has been looking for a job but because of him being his sons only carer, no one has been lenient. I have taken the time over the last few months to get to know them. This little boy always has a smile on his face and the thought of him sleeping on the street absolutely kills me. So I plead this....if any of you have extra mens (about a medium, 32/34 waist) and little boys (from about 4yrs) clothes, please could you donate it to them? I will be gathering clothes, tins of food or any donations over the next month and will then be dropping everything with the little boys father. Im not asking anyone to spend money, Im asking if you have anything you no longer need and wish to donate. Winter is coming up now and I need to find a way to keep them both warm, so blankets etc would be cool as well. Im going out on a bit of a limb here, if there is anyone who can offer this gentleman any kind of job that he can earn a little bit of cash for him and his son to survive or anyone who has an outside room where they can have a warm area and a roof over their heads rent free, that would be absolutely amazing. I would really appreciate any help I can get. if you have anything at all, please inbox or text me, or you can send me an email on [email protected]. I work in Constantia (Southern Suburbs) and live in Fish Hoek (Southern Peninsula). The little boy and his father often sleep under the car port outside my offce. His life doesnt need to be like this. Xxxx
