I have yet to chime in on the Paula Deen controversy, mostly because of a lack of time and interest. I did not pay any attention to Paula Deen before this, so I have little interest now. ... However, I ran across this shared by Anne Rice and !Nanette Laster and think it is well worth sharing. ... I also wonder where is all the outrage and contract cancellations for a gay-bashing rant by Liberal prima donna Alec Baldwin -- someone else I pay little to and care even less about. ... I think this column from a well-educated Southern African-American woman covers the Deen topic pretty well.
