I havent put much of this up, but I do a craft called Kumihimo. (The people who are really good at it make it into an art but Im a long way from that.) I made a loom which I have been teaching myself to braid on, its not technically weaving, and I finally took the leap and a talented cabinet maker in Harrison, ME built me a proper loom. This is my first braid on the new loom and it is coming out great. Such a joy to work on a good piece of equipment. My goal is to make guitar straps to sell in music stores, custom order and maybe even an art gallery some day. More pictures to follow with future braids. Im looking forward to snow days when I can sit and braid and play my harp!
