I havent really been posting about this since I know the Catskills are a bit of a trek for most my NYC people--but its opening night of Falling at Shadowland Theatre and I gotta say a little something. First off, the Catskills are BEAUTIFUL so if you need an excuse to come hike/bike/frolic among the foliage, I have a GREAT reason for you to get up here. Speaking of beautiful things...This play. Ive never been so touched by a play Ive worked on. Falling is a semi-autobiographical play by Deana Jent about a family with a severely autistic son. The play begs the question, How do you love someone who is difficult to love? I think this is an incredibly important story that doesnt get told enough, and Im extremely proud to be a part of it.
