I hear members of an Islamic sect(over 200) led by a SHEIK have been dislodged from their settlement in Niger state. The sheik says they are not dangerous but peace-loving people who are only propagating Islam. (Maitasine and Boko Haram said so before) For the government of the state to “dislodge“ them, it must believe that they are capable of becoming another terrorist group, perhaps worse than Boko Haram. Nobody is calling them Christians now or members of CAN. This is the indoctrination stage. Nobody is blaming politicians yet. These guys are purely religious right now as they are being brainwashed(?) by one cleric.(Politicians and other elites may use/support them later) Remember that Shekau is also a SHEIK. When potential terrorists are at the growing stage, conspiracy theorists don‘t blame politicians or members of another religion. They start indulging in self-denial and looking for others to blame when the little snake becomes an anaconda. My questions are: where are these guys now lodged? Are all the members being monitored by our security agents/agencies? Can a mere dislodgement stop a group with a strong ideology? Won‘t their dislodgement act as a trigger to make them move to the next phase of their mission? I just dey fia sha. . .
