I hear this statement often: Why did God allow this to happen? Sometimes we often have to face tragedys in our life and I just wanted to share what I believe about bad things or tragedy. The key to understanding tragedy is to understand its source. Death, pain, lies, sufferings, rebellion etc. are all the results of sin. When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden of Eden, they werent just doing something God had told them not to do. It was an act of rebellion. God had given them the greatest of all things and had started the life of greatness in them. Yet, Satan stepped in and convinced them that it was all ok. Thus sin stepped in and everything was changed. Every graveyard, hospital, prison, courtroom, barroom, (every place like this) is a witness to the legacy of what rebellion will do. Now, I do not fully understand why God allows evil to happen, but I do know that sin is the root of it. Evil happens because we are a sinful people living in a sinful world. I would only ask you today if you would never underestimate the effects of sin. The greatest tragedy of sin was the CROSS. If it hadnt been for our sins, Jesus would not had to be placed there and would not have had to die. But He triumphed over tragedy and so can we. Would you ask Him today to show you the way to gain victory over your sins and lead your way to a life that would be more like His. God Bless You
