I heard a phrase today and immediately it hit me with great force. I am unsure of the author but it is rare that something moves me in such a way. Whoever this quote was from, thank you so very much. Anger is the wind that blows out the candle of the mind It was in reference to the current protests. I interpret it to mean that when we are angry we cant think clearly and the thing that angers us consumes us blindly. I find myself in that state of mind too frequently and after hearing the statement and really thinking about it I think it will really help me in the future. Thank you to whoever provided these words of wisdom.
