I heard something today that really made me question humanity... a guy I know, that has a good job, and makes good money, stole a girls purse because she was fundraising and he knew she had money in it. then he ditches the purse. knowing his past, he was questioned, and of course denied everything. a few days later, the purse turns up in a dumpster at a convenience store across the street from where it was stolen. the camera has the dude on video so there is no doubt he stole it. THEN, the purse goes back to the original owner, but no money inside. the offer is made to pay the money back, and no cops will be called. The dude is like whatever, I aint payin. so his family member starts calling the members of the family to say WHO IS GOING TO HELP PAY THE MONEY BACK SO HE WONT GO TO JAIL??? now, if thats not bad enough, when no one offers to help, the family member starts getting mad and talking shit. saying why did everyone help when so and so went to jail, but no one will help my guy out. then going online and asking people if they think one crime is worse than another crime? like its okay your dude stole from someone, because its not as bad as what some other person did. I would think this was crazy, and find it hard to believe if I hadnt seen it happen over and over again. classic hoodrat mentality! I seriously wish I could make up tories as well as the ones that unfold in real life in front of me sometimes. Id quit the pawnshop and sell my books!
