I heard the Loons calling this morning so I knew an eagle was visiting. (I assumed it was Emily but there have been a few others around lately).. I grabbed my camera (with the long lens) hopped into our kayak and paddled out. I found Emily on this branch at the east end of the pond checking out a potential fresh meal. She never took the dive but later I watched her attack a school of white perch feeding on the surface. A fun day on Parks Pond, Maine.
