I hope everybody has woken with a sense of achievement and pride - TopicsExpress

I hope everybody has woken with a sense of achievement and pride this morning. I will not go into thanking everybody as the message would be too long. However I have asked Kev to compile a list of all those donations that we received and to thank them on here. On a personal note what made my night memorable were the following things; The numbers that attended the event, just over 100. The atmosphere, the smiles and as Scotty said, culture. The enthusiasm that was shown during the auction. The look on the faces of the lads who were awarded with recognition, especially Harry! In closing I would also like to thank those who supported my efforts on and off the pitch. Coaching is not for the faint hearted, when you have do many individuals who you need to get the best out of. Although I could only give one award you all deserve my thanks!! Gareth Leigh-Heidt Tom Short Devin Simons Chris Brooks Andrew Freestone Barry Coombs Harry Alex Itty Bitty Poulton Conor Welsh Bleachy Weston Jack Wainwright Joshy Fulwood Chingtylerrhyscory Kent Harper Daniel Paterson And those who held a brief moment Andy Williams Adam Treen Rhys Hoehne Mozza If Ive missed anyone its my age! I now officially step down as coach as I have stuff that I have to now concentrate on. Thank you for the voucher and I will enjoy watching you succeed next year. Remember I said, you can make your own history, well you have all certainly done that! On a final note I want to express my reflect and admiration to Declan Griffin Amanda Griiin and to their beautiful Angel. The mark of a person who has passed can be measured by the marks they have left on the people they left behind. Erin sleep in peace, you have certainly impacted on Alfinga Sharks and thousands of others. Thanks again and enjoy the grand final ( wrong shape ball) Darren
