I hope everyone enjoyed the warm weather today...as big changes are on the way next week. By the middle of next week, highs in the 20s and lows down into the teens is looking likely. Check out the GFS and GEM computer models forecast temperatures by 7am Wednesday morning. (Dec. 31) Check out the brutal cold spilling into the upper midwest. The Canadian model is really aggressive with the cold showing single digits across the state (I do think this is too aggressive) ...while the GFS has most of us in the mid/upper teens. There continues to be some disagreement in the data on just how far southeast the strong cold blast gets and how cold we get locally, but to say the least, it is going to get pretty cold!
