I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a great time! Well, Billy did not get me the pink camo deer blind. He bought something else that was shiny and colorful. He gave me a beautiful diamond, sapphire, and chocolate diamond ring! We had a good Christmas Eve with the girls. Billy and Macy were teasing that they were going hunting on Christmas Day. Yes, they were gone for the day, but not hunting. My Mother-in-law fell and broke her hip Christmas Eve night. He went to Port Lavaca later that night and came home around 2 or 3 am. He and Macy got up that morning to visit her. I stayed home and cooked dinner. Please pray for Florence Herzog. She moved into the nursing home for rehab in Port Lavaca. She is in good spirits and feeling pretty good. On another note, my Aunt Jane was in the hospital and had surgery. She was told the worst news. She is terminal with lung and liver cancer. Never smoked or had a drink. Please pray for peace and comfort for her and my cousins. Also, my Aunt Larrie had to move out of her apartment in San Antonio. It is a retired Sr. Citizen Complex. I dont know if anyone heard about this on the news, but the complex burned down last Sunday. She is fine. There were 5 people that lost their lives and 17 that are in the hospital. The fire started ( I think ) the 4th or 5th floor. My Aunt lived on the 2nd floor ( I think ) Thanks to God for watching over her. She was going to be moving to New Braunfels later this month. Please pray for her and my cousin Deb. Material things are not important. God and family are the most important people in our lives. Please call or hug your family because you never know when you will see them again. This is true for friends too. I hope that all of my family and friends have a wonderful and Blessed year.
