I hope everyone is having a great Bank Holiday Weekend. Shame about the weather today, but something we are used to on Bank Holidays. I have been thinking about themes and constructive solutions / quick wins, that Western Greyhound could implement, things that ultimately would help straight away as I am sure Mr Howarth and the team are already thinking of long term improvements. The main themes I have come up with are: 1. Communication. 2. Timetabling. 3. Route Analysis. 4. Engineering & Parts. As I have mentioned before we all need to work together on this and I am sure Western Greyhound would appreciate any input they receive. If you can think of some constructive processes / solutions that fit into these main themes, then please let me know. Obviously as an example, a quick win and cheap option for the 1st theme would be a page like this where someone at WG could continually update throughout the day informing people of bus delays / non runners. I am sure the process could fit in around existing staff and structure and therefore the cost would be minimal. All constructive comments are welcome and I can then present these when I sit down with the team in the near future. Thanks again all.
