I hope it is okay to post the following information on this site. I just took a beautiful deceased orange cat to the Old Country Vet for identification (they kept the cat -- they were going to tag it as a stray and put the sweetie in their freezer while they tried to identify the tattoo). I would guess the cat was hit by a car between 3 and 4 PM today. I found it around 4 PM at the corner of Hwy 311 and 37E (near the Ridgewood Church). I took a photo of the cat and the tattoo. The tattoo is BSN 44. My sympathies to the family who lost their pet today. I hope it helps to know it looks like there was no suffering and we gently carried him from the side of the road and gave him our love. I can provide a full photo to the owners if they wish. The cat was intact. RIP little one.
