I hope its ok to post this info here. My husband was bitten by our kitty while he was trying to help him free his paw. He had several deep wounds on his hand. He went to the emergency clinic within the hour and had it cleaned and received antibiotics. With all that, his hand is red and swollen. They said that cats carry a specific bacteria in their mouths and it is vital to get medical attention quickly if bitten. I did not realized how dangerous it could be ! I just wanted to pass along this info so we can all stay happy and healthy and take care of our furbabies :)
