I hope no one is offended by this. As a lot of you know, I am a Muslim. After hearing all of the things about Paris, and all the hate towards Islam, I feel I should speak out as well. Islam is not the best religion. I have felt this way for years, and still do. I dont think that Charlie Hebdo has the right to defile a persons image, but they should not be doing things against a religion which is home to terrorists. Whenever I ask my family about Islam and its important factors, a bullshit answer comes up. If I ask why Prophet Muhammad married a nine-year old, I get bullshit logic. Islam looks down on gays and lesbians. If my child was gay, should I hate them? Just for loving another gender? Whats up with that? I dont believe that God would make people like that and then treat them like scum. It hurts me so much, especially when I have gay friends. And the worst part that if I speak out and say all these things to other Muslims, Ill get the worst of it. So why, why am I living in a world of fire and fighting? Honestly, I dont know what to believe.
