I hope that on every single day, everyone has someone incredibly inspiring that helps them move in the right direction. There are so many distractions, including people whose values are not aligned with your own. It helps immensely to have at least one powerful inspiration -- besides yourself -- at any given time, to challenge you to live an AMAZING life, a dream life. Right now, Randi Wallace, is that powerful force in my life that inspires me every day. Her ACTIONS, her words, her values, her love, and her encouragement is helping me in EVERY dimension of my life. My health, my career, my relationships, and my spirituality. Its outstanding. I was thinking about this during my workout today. I occasionally feel kinda frustrated because I miss people like my former roommates Abby and Caitlin, who constantly challenged me. I want people around me that push me, that inspire me, that challenge me, that check in on me. Besides my health, these kinds of relationships are what I value most in life. I dont want a life thats easy and stagnant. I want a life that makes me feel ALIVE. Im fortunate that I have many relationships in my life that help me to grow, and I intend to give big shout-outs to those people on a regular basis. Not everyone at every time can inspire everyone. Sometimes people need to be inspired first. The poet Rumi says, Set your life on fire. Seek those who fan your flames. Go out and find those who fan your flames, who move you in the right direction even though you might feel resistance to it at first. And if youre thinking of someone right now who inspires you and challenges you to the nth degree, please let them know.
