I hope that once the dust settles Canada will choose to invest in addressing the inequality that leads to the isolation & marginalization of our citizens. that feeling of not being a part of something opens the door to. radicalization. I think the best way to address a security threat is to focus on the source of the threat, not the symptom of violence. We have to ensure our use of force is scaled to the attack, not a huge up serge in militarization. I cant stop thinking about how this will be used to fuel racism & hatred as well as curtail our rights & freedoms.
