I hope youre all enjoying the January Thaw with gorgeous mild days and cool nights in the foothils. The weather pattern is forecast to transition back to cool and wet for the west and California beginning in about 7 days or so, meaning more rain for us and Sierra snow for the mountains. The forecast models have been consistent the last several days indicating this, so that is a good sign, increasing confidence in the forecast. A weak inside slider type system may clip our area around Sunday, bringing a slight chance of showers. But other than that, we should see more mostly sunny and mild weather into the first half of next week, then cooler and wetter into the following weekend.
