I imagine a physical metaphor that is also a painting or image. It has two vertical panels that fold open, revealing new patterns of relation, symmetry, and co-emergence. When they fold open, the internal imagery of their other sides reconnotates what is hidden now behind the panels and gives way to the new dimension of the whole within. The new dimension within is on two horizontal panels as well. These open similarly, but all the panels and their ‘sides’ re-relate to each other in such a strange and almost living way that with each opening all previous phases are reborn in new perspective, meaning, relation and effect. Yet each word is a bit like this, each gesture. It does not ‘possess’ a meaning or content. We approach, and to the degree we will open the panels... it becomes infinite. This is a toy of a way of seeing... that becomes a way of »travel.
