I intended to open my All Saints Day Lecture of yesterday in Gent with this video entitled The Africa the Media Never Show You but I found that I had to manage the time allocated to me more efficiently. I therefore didnt show the video. The message I intended to bring along with the video was that the devastating images coming out of the Ebola ravaged parts of Africa should not be the defining images of Africa. There are more to the continent than the media show us as this video undisputedly shows you. This video is my Sunday Sermon to you all.
