I just bottled the first beer designed for my generally non-beer drinking wife, Mrs. Murray. I made a Chai Brown Ale with Maris Otter, crystal and chocolate malts, and a healthy dose of Vienna. Low IBUs, around 23. In the first batch I accidentally used a 5 gallon rate of a sample of 5.2 that my local homebrew store gave me, so it was expectidly very mineraly. The second batch has an appropriate level of brewing salts and half of then ammount of Chai tea in the recipe. Also, my wife helped brew it, so I expect it to be even better than the first.
