I just broke my water fast with a carrot/apple juice. Down 18 lbs last 8 days. The juice was NASTY, DISGUSTING, GROSS. I diluted it with water then I was able to get it down. Today, I do all juice, tomorrow, I do juice/smoothie, next day, I do smoothie and fresh fruit salad, day after that I do oatmeal/salad, must drink my 8 glasses of water daily. BTW, breaking the fast is more important than the fast. If you dont break the fast correctly, you can end up in the hospital or worse! For every week you fast, take 2 days to slowly introduce whole foods back into your life. Start with juice, then smoothies, then salad, then oats, dont eat a burger, although I want one..LOL You shouldnt really bring meat into the picture for a couple of weeks after you break the fast.
