I just came back from Chennai (originally, Madras). Quite a lousy city. but I was fortunate to meet Mr. R. P. Singh, who is in the marketing department, actually a senior manager, in charge of Yamaha sports activities. A very nice person. He took Nikhil and her mother around in the racing track in MMRT (Madras Motor Racing Track) which is a facility of Madras Motor Racing Association (or some name to that effect, I am sorry I do not remember the correct nomenclature of that club or association or what not). He even called me last night when I was waiting in the baggage claim area in Bangalore after a short flight (just 30 minutes) from Chennai. He had taken the trouble to take Nikhil and his mother inside the facilities when some preliminary races were going on, in preparation for the final races today (that is, 3rd August, 2014. Of course, I have not slept so far after coming back to Bangalore, and hence my mind is still in Saturday 2nd August 2014). That was the best experience I had in Chennai, since I landed there with Nikhil on the evening (around 7PM) of 30th July 2014 until I left Chennai at 20:16 hrs (actual take off time, that is, the time that the wheels of the A320-200 separated themselves from the runway in Chennai Airport) on the way to Bangalore last evening (Saturday evening, 2nd August, that is). The only other good experience was the driver of the taxi who took us from the Hotel in Sriperambudur to the the MMRT race track and then to Chennai Airport was quite nice. Apart from that, the whole visit to Chennai was a Misery, of the utmost level in my life. I guess, the less said about it the better. Have a nice evening, day, or whatever depending on where you are, but Avoid Chennai and the persons who inhabit that city like the Plague! Bye for now, I may not be in any pleasant mood to post any thing or write anything on Facebook for another 4 to 6 months from today, as the hell at home is still starting. Bye for now.
