I just cant imagine the pain that Robin Williams must have felt to end his life like that! To try cutting your wrists and then, when that doesnt work, no second thought, you just find another way… anything to end the pain. It’s heartbreaking, it goes beyond anything I, personally have ever felt. It makes me wonder, how many people may be feeling that kind of pain? It makes me look at people a little differently. It makes me want to be kinder, more understanding, and less judgmental. We all need to try to think about that next time we want to tell someone to “be happy” or “get over it” and realize that a man who had fame and fortune and everything that we “think” will make us “happy”... just wasnt! Maybe Robin’s life may make us better people, not just for the movies he made, but for the awareness he is bringing to living with the unbearable pain of depression. Let that be part of his wonderful legacy!
