I just cant take it. Reading various news pieces and columnists, and more disturbingly the comments on them posted by the readers, I have come to the conclusion we are totally and completely screwed. We have become so controlled by propaganda that there cannot even be a discussion over a difference of opinion without it turning into a war of conspiratorial charges meant to undermine any credibility either participant may have had. I believe that generally we have created for ourselves an ignorant population of sheep without the ability to see outside of a narrow set of parameters without becoming upset and violent. Maybe I just need more coffee and some pool cleaning therapy?
