I just couldnt wait to share this adoptaversary update with you! Beautiful Luna has been with her forever family for one year now--and from moms update, sounds like they were made for each other! I just had to send you a note about our Luna. This month is her adoptiversary and I cant even begin to tell you how much we love her!! She has come so far in the past year. When she came to us, she was nervous, anxious, and generally unsure about her world and her new family. Slowly but surely, she has blossomed into a happy and secure dog. For months after she first arrived, she was too scared to go in the backyard by herself and needed a human buddy just to go outside and go potty. This morning, she and I went on a 4 mile run, off leash on voice control, exploring and having fun in the open space near our home. This is night and day from the sweet girl we met a year ago. She does still tend to be a bit timid, but her bond with our family is fast and sure and her confidence grows daily. And her joy....oh, it bursts right out of her. Her human siblings adore her and she takes turns sleeping in all beds! She is quite the snuggle bug. She fits right in with her kitty siblings and we can often find several fuzzy siblings snoozing in a sun spot on the floor. Thank you, thank you Summit Dog Rescue for bring our Luna to us! There are no words to express what she means to our family and we think she feels the same way!
