I just discovered one of my friends unexpectedly passed away yesterday. I greatly enjoyed serving the homeless with him, witnessing with him, and sharing a zeal for Gods kingdom in our deep discussions. As I go to his wall and read all the comments I see the legacy he has left behind and it challenges me to want to live as passionately and as selflessly as he did. What kind of legacy are you creating? This life is short and you only get one shot. Dont throw it away on pointless pursuits. When we exit this earth suit the only question thats going to matter is Did I accomplish what God had for me while I was here? The car you drove wont matter, the house you owned wont matter, the popularity or attractiveness of your girlfriend/boyfriend wont matter, your bank balance wont matter, your number of likes on social media wont matter, how many people know your name wont matter, but the ONLY thing that will matter is how you served and obeyed your King. Thank you Steven McDaniel for always being focused on what matters. You are truly a rich man. Thank you for challenging me to store up riches in the place where they actually count. Well have lots of family joining us in Heaven someday thanks to you! Looking forward to seeing you again someday my friend!
