I just discovered something u had long suspected in my dog, Mr Tommy Lee Jones ... Yesterday while gardening, i looked up and was shocked to see my little poodle OUTSIDE my gate. She had escaped and gone gallivanting. In my haste to bring her in, i opened my gate , and Tommy Lee Jones bolted, followed by Gracie again. I was so frightened as it was evening time - people jogging and walking their dogs. Running after them, i saw Gracie first 2 roads down. She came to me when i called - Tommy had disappeared. I took Gracie home and came out with Tommys strong leash. A few people directed me to where he was last seen. Right at the end of the taman where i take my doggies for poo2, i saw him. Near to him was ArchEnemy No.1 - a Security Guard !!! I approached calmly and called his name softly. He came to me and was leashed and we walked home slowly . I THANK GOD NOTHING HAPPENED..... I really really do. I was shaking with fright . We reached home in silence and i ignored him all night . He was so sad and quiet and sorry, even today. He is a very sensitive boy !!!!!! Im very sure he would prefer a biggg scolding or the rotan. My silence was horrible for him !!! He could feel my deep disappointment but i was too relieved nothing happened to either scold or talk to him ! Last night as i put him to bed, i hugged him and talked to him. Told him .... Tommy, the next time you run away, you stay away. No need to come home. He just hung his head in silence. If dogs cry, that was a real Crying Moment for him.
