I just finished a remote repair/tuneup for a new customer in Montreal. He had just picked up his computer from a PC repair shop. They had charged him $169.99 and told him that they had removed all the aggressive problems on his PC. He found his computer was still running slow and called me. I inspected the PC and found 2264 malware/spyware issues (a new record), 1204 registry errors, many many undesirable plugins/extensions in his Firefox and chrome browser, bad search engines. To summarize, his computer was an absolute MESS, and this was right after having paid $170 for a tuneup?. I fixed everything, and provided him with the tools to maintain his system moving forward. To say the least, he was very, very pleased and told me he was going back to the store to demand a refund. By the way, I charged him $40.00, he didnt have to drag his computer to the store, pick it up 2 days later, only to be disappointed. He enjoyed a beer, watched me repair his system remotely, and learnt a lot as I went along. Save yourself a lot of trouble, and a lot of money. Call/email BDR Computers first!!
