I just finished reading the Stephanie Plum series written by Janet Evanovich, books #1 through #20. Stephanie Plum takes a job as a bounty hunter because she is desperate for some fast cash after losing her job. She lacks bounty hunter skills but has luck on her side and kind of stumbles through it all and things work out for her. These books were a fun and easy read (I averaged about two per week), the characters were likable (even the villains, well, most of them), and no deep thinking was needed. The first 8 or 10 were better than the later books with only one or two in the middle of the series a little dissapointing. Easy reading, some romance, funny, and worthwhile! I will probably reread some of them in the future.
