I just finished reviewing video of my 9-year-old swimmer in Thailand. What a privilege. It is fun to try to give stroke work to a hard working swimmer a half-world away from me. His dad drops video to my email using coaches eye, and I review it as they sleep. Then when I am sleeping, they are having their day and reviewing my comments and corrections. Its a very different way to coach; however, if a child is passionate and motivated, it is quite amazing what can be accomplished. I am really impressed with him. I can see positive changes already. My goal is to go and visit him in Thailand in August, 2015. I hope he will work hard on his English lessons this year; otherwise, we will all sit around smiling at each other while eating green plants and also doing quite a lot of swimming with hand signals. Life is awesome, isnt it?
