I just finished the book A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson about his journey hiking the Appalachian trail. Heres what I got out of it: have dreams, make goals (big and small) and dont put a box around what you can do. Some people are already in shape when they start the hike from Georgia to Maine, others do it to get in shape. Some hike it straight thru for 20 miles a day for 6 months and some do parts on weekends or week long hikes. Some camp out each night in tents and some stay in a cabin along the way or take the first motel they can find when they reach a town. Just because you havent done something in the past doesnt mean you cant still. Dont put life in a box, change it up and enjoy nature! Its free!
