I just found out that Lauren Bacall died. I had the pleasure of talking with Ms. Bacall in SanFransisco at the Gheredelli Chocolate Factory. I litterally bumped into her in the store. She was wearing a huge hat, scarf, sunglasses. She was trying to hide herself. I told the mysterious lady how sorry I was. Her familiar voice made me say to my now Ex, that sure sounds like Lauren Bacall? Well she was in front of me in line and no other people were there. I said very quietly, just in case it wasnt her, Ms. Bacall? With that she took of her scarf, glasses, and hat. She quickly asked me how I knew who she was? She said it with a smile. I told her I have seen all of her movies sitting with my Father. She told me to go back and fill my basket. She paid about $120 for my basket and over $200 for her own. She asked me and my now Ex if she could buy us ice cream. Of course we said yes. I cant even remember how many hours we sat and talked. She had more questions for me then I for her. We sat and ate ice cream and laughed for hours. She loved that I knew who she was. She was the sweetest and most beautiful women I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Ms. Bacall I wish we could have talked more. You were amazing and it was MY pleasure to have met you. You will always be a walking legend to me. Thanks Ms. Bacall!
