I just got a call from Todd Dickey. The nurse told me that dad DOES have a UTI. I knew when he was acting confused that he had one. They told me the first time he was confused that some elderly people only exhibit a symptom of confusion. That is a tell tale sign every time with dad. I told the nurse that I wanted a UTI test and they got right on it this time. They said they are running a culture that could take 3 days to define the exact bacteria but wanted to start him right away since he goes septic so fast. They said they may need to change the antibiotic. Please keep him in your prayers as I am concerned that he is having so many UTIs and has been on several antibiotics in the last 6 months.
