I just got approved for WIA which works kinda like a Pell Grant in that its money you dont pay back. Because I already have an Associate of Science(xray tech), I was denied FASFA benifits at any 2 year college.(the state looks at it as a parallel degree even though I will be getting an additional RN certificate; its the same Associate of Science degree in their eyes) ....... This WIA money just cut my cost in half! ! When you are where God wants you, He will make it happen! ! ! I have had to learn this lesson the hard way. Make sure you pray and ask God to show you direction in EVERY aspect of your life. I made the mistake of not praying before choosing xray school. And, if I would have seen the signs sooner, I would not be so far off track. .....But, ....Thank God Im on track now!!!
