I just got back from Granbury, Texas (and Paluxy where I was chain-sawing & clearing brush on our ranch) where my friend Kathy White Vaughan lives---we talked but mostly we laughed and laughed. I taught her kids Michelle Grace Vaughan and Daniel Vaughan to ski since they were tikes. We did shots together at her sons wedding at Stein Eriksons in Deer Valley with the heir to the Turner Seed empire, frickin awesome Nathan Turner. Kathys brother, a Tea Partyer, was an executive with ARCO Russia. We plotted revolution together. It was a wedding for the ages--- a union of two large Texas oil families---the corporate side----and the wildcatter side. I felt blessed to even be invited.
