I just got home from a weekend in Hobart and had to share this little gem of a cafe with you! We spent Sunday morning wandering the city getting more and more discouraged because I couldnt find anything gluten free. Then we came across Straight up coffee +food where EVERYTHING is 100% gluten free! Great staff, great atmosphere, delicious coffee (with soy milk and house made almond milk available for my fellow lactose free peeps). And the food? To die for. Pictured are my husbands chocolate waffles with coconut ice cream and preserved fruit. I had the toasted corn bread with scrambled eggs, avocado salsa and grilled haloumi. It was all so good we went back yesterday for more! Highly recommend this place and make sure you have a tahini snap cookie if you go there. So. Good.
