I just got some very shocking and sad news, our dear brother and Shaykh Imam Mahmoud Zayed passed away last night. I was told he had just came back from the ISNA convention and late into the night he had a heart Attack. Imam Moustafa Zayed (Author of The lies about Muhammad: How You Were Deceived Into Islamophobia) was a good friend of mine who I had the honor of working with for many years on TheDeenShow. Anyone who knew him knows how excited he was about Dawah and Sharing and defending Islam. This came as a shock because he was also at the prime of his life. This serves as a great reminder that death is coming for us all and Imam Moustafa Zayed was aware of this thats why he dedicated his life to Dawah and doing good,helping others and the community at large. He will be missed but not forgotten because he leaves behind so much great work that people are still benefiting from today. May Allah swt grant him the highest level of Jannah and make things easy for his family and 5 children that he leaves behind and may they continue his work and his legacy.
