I just had a date with Mama... we watched, Bride for Rent... Everyone in the cinema was indulgent in laughter and kilig... the script is indeed well-written and Ms. Mae Czarina-Cruz did a marvellous job in directing the film... Furthermore, I am to credit Kim Chius natural comedic acting together with Xian Lims improved believability in assuming his role... but the theme struck me the most--- falling in love defies ones fear of commitment, it takes down that colossal wall of self-defensiveness which is built up against being pained upon... that such non-believer is to be swayed and be submissive to the sacrament of MARRIAGE... the movie even had true-to-life couples attesting on how they kept their marriage on longevity... that it may technically translate to FOREVER... again, the three powerful messages of this enchanting flick are--- COMMITMENT, MARRIAGE, and FOREVER... *Sorry for being a spoiler ... hihihi... *With Chinito being the OST of the film and the aforementioned themes--- someone came to mind... haay ...
