I just had a very positive experience. The dog got two ticks on her eye lid today. TBH it was distressing me more than her but it wasnt good. So i go to the park where the dog crowd hangs out. Dog ownership is taken very seriously here.... In my best French i ask for advice. The next thing i know one lady has pulled out a tick for eyelid puller - the dog is on the deck and the ticks are removed. Then a whole tribe of dog adorers is all over the dog looking for more ticks. I am admonished for the dreadlocks behind the dogs ears. Out comes a razer and they are showing me how to get the dead hair out of her coat and telling me to sort myself out of the dreads as it will hold ticks and give her exema etc. I am back home with a borrowed razor, strict instructions and a review is imminent in the next couple of days to review the dogs progress!
