I just had one of those moments when you realize you took on traits of your parents. It was back in 88/89 when we lived on Hawthorne and my mom bought my dad whipper snapper later known as we whippi, a little brown poodle like dog. At the time my dad was still fairly stacked and only been out about a year so he appeared to be a bad ass. I remember looking at him pet whippi on his head using just his finger tips. It was very gentle for someone to me appeared very rough. Ive seen him pet many animals like this since that time. Young, old, small, huge, healthy, and sick. He rescued bugs a baby bunny once. He would attempt to help any animal in need. Tonight as Im sitting here with Dincey I noticed I was petting her with Judy my finger tips in a gentle soothing manner just like my dad does. Im sure Ive taken on many traits of both parents and most of them I am proud of. This is one of those moments I can be proud of.
