I just had the most amazing evening with my mom and I truly cherish every moment I have with her. What I enjoy most is our talks. Tonights discussion was quite pensive, and so I share this with you. To those who call themselves Christians, when did you become so judgmental? When did it become acceptable to cast your stones? Does it not say to love thy neighbor? Last I checked I am far from perfect, but I will gladly share what I have with those who dont. I work with the most amazing teachers and students, and I know it has been a difficult time for many, but my heart hurts as I witness the ugliness and hatred that is spread across Facebook. Anyone who knows me, knows I love with all I have, but my heart hurts to see the posts filled with ugliness and hatred. A smile costs nothing, same with a compliment, so I challenge you, it will cost you nothing, but your time. May the next words from your lips or acts be positive and filled with love in the hopes you will do something for someone who is in desperate need of an act of kindness.
